Housing & Community Development
Robin understands housing from firsthand experience—not just as a policy issue, but as a system involving land use, labor availability, infrastructure, and affordability. She believes communities benefit when housing solutions are practical, fiscally responsible, and aligned with local needs.
Fiscal Stability & Accountability
With a background in finance and business operations, Robin brings a disciplined perspective to budgeting and public resources. She believes long-term stability requires clear priorities, transparency, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
Agriculture & Public Lands
Agriculture and land stewardship are foundational to District 6. Robin recognizes the importance of protecting working lands, respecting water and infrastructure realities, and balancing preservation with responsible economic activity. It is vital that we safeguard the farming families who anchor our economy and community, and invest further in hands-on learning spaces like 4-H that empower our next generation.
Education & Workforce
Strong schools and workforce pathways are essential to economic resilience. Robin views education, housing affordability, and workforce availability as interconnected systems that must be addressed together. We need stronger schools—from elementary to our universities, state colleges, and trade schools—to educate a robust workforce which will attract businesses that offer higher-paying jobs. The current private school voucher system places public tax dollars in the hands of unaccountable institutions that do not pay taxes and can be removed from Idaho's economy via out-of-state private schools. Robin believes that voucher funds should be allocated to students with household incomes of $100,000 or less, with priority to those not currently attending private schools.
Infrastructure
From roads and utilities to broadband access, infrastructure decisions shape daily life and long-term opportunity. Robin supports thoughtful planning that reflects how people live, work, and do business in north-central Idaho. Robin will champion grant funds and investments needed to provide internet access to our rural communities because she understands that internet access enhances education and safety.
